A lot of these posts are just screaming contests where no one has actually read the article. The article says that the law states "no one may care for unrelated children in their home for more than four weeks each calendar year unless they are licensed day-care providers"

Passengers are not being treated like human beings when they arent allowed to bring water and then must pay for it.

Everyone focuses on the money and I am tired of it. When someone adopts a child with special needs it costs a lot more money and time to help them through than typically developing children who have not had the trauma of whatever happened to get them into foster care. It is far cheaper …

It was not that long ago that larger downpayments were the norm. However when the average earner gets 45k and the average home price is 200k then it is an entire year's worth of salary (two years after taxes) just for the down payment. That ratio is not sustainable.

These two tales of health care are not comparable. A private practice specialist always has more time for a patient than a hospital staff doctor. I have been treated in hospitals in a few countries. If the author had instead said her hospital care was in the US, it would have been the same story.

I buy diapers on sale at Target and that is cheaper than places like Costco. Two other places I have found them cheaply is at diapers.com and Babys R US. I have to use Pampers Cruisers because my son leaks due to a medical condition without the extra leg elastic.
